Simple yet supremely sophisticated, this bias-cut, heavy silk gown is based on a 1930s frock unearthed at a vintage fair in Notting Hill.  Its diamond-cut panels skim over the body to create a movie-star silhouette. The draped-sash neckline can be draped in front or behind the body, depending on your mood.
