Recreating and vintage classics in the stunning fabrics available today, with beautiful hand-tailoring and cuts to fit our figures now, you’ll find boutique clothing with a story to tell. As you shop the collection you’ll see that each Silk & Sawdust design comes with its own little history, explaining how it came into being. Whether it’s inspired by an original dress worn by Grace Kelly or a drawing from a 1940s Vogue pattern book, you’ll be adding a piece of fashion history to your closet when you select your boutique unique Silk & Sawdust piece.

The designs in the collection are only available in limited quantities, so you’re unlikely to see anyone else in your chosen frock. Some are one of a kind, others are just one of six. Whichever, we don’t produce more than 10 of any given item. And when you shop the Silk & Sawdust boutique unique collection you can rest assured that your purchase is as respectful of fashion ethics as it is of fashion history. Having volunteered in Thailand with Voluntary Services Overseas, our designer Claudia now spends several months a year in Bangkok, working closely with delightful dressmakers, ensuring they have as much fun making the clothes as you do wearing them.
